Service was super fast and friendly! Food was delicious and generous portions. Salsa had amazing flavor. Chile was really good. Enjoyed my meal here. Wide variety of dishes for all appetites. Drinks were huge and refilled as needed. Servers were very attentive. Parking off the street and spaces were wide.

Genaros was on point tonight, awesome meal. Out waitress was just outstanding. I had the enchilada carnitas tonight it was DELICIOUS!!! Great job!!!

I've been going here for well over 20 years, actually back when the co-founders (husband and wife) would sit in the corner booth calculating tickets and still found the time to greet customers. I absolutely LOVE this place, Gloria and Francis have always been amazing! I no longer live in the area, but every time I stop which is about 4 times a year, they know my usual :) Stuffed Sopapilla, red on the side and my usual sweet tea...Yumm! btw, best salsa you'll ever have ;)

Honestly the best Red Chile I've ever had. I've lived in NM my entire life so I know a thing or two about chile.The only thing that drives me CRAZY are the street vendors who come in. It's a constant stream of people selling random garbage interrupting your meal. They will interrupt conversation and shove their merchandise under your nose. I'd kick these people out!

My husband grew up around this area. He insisted that we eat here when visiting Ganado, Az. It was a little busy, but got our food in a timely manner. The food was really good. It was a little spicy for me but I really can’t do “hot”. I would eat here again and will post pictures the next time.

Really nice local family owned restaurant with huge portion of food! We shared a stuffed sopapilla, and it was enough 😊. Gigi, the owner welcomed us at the door and took care of us, since we looked like tourists. The food is very tasty!

The chili cheese fries are the best. The fajitas are good, the combination plate is average. I think it's the pace in Gallup for Mexican food.

Authentic Mexican food it was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place. Very casual atmosphere and obviously a local I had the stove stuffed sopapilla and it was absolutely excellent.

The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Everyone was on top of their game. They were all kind and courteous. I saw another customer spill something and right away an employee cleaned it up and then promptly seated other customers who just came thru the door.

I love the food there especially the menudo good food.

We always come here when we come to Gallup. Amazing customer service, friendly servers and bus boys. Great price for amazing New Mexican food. They're green chili is always hot, chips and salsa is the best and you get alot of food. Never disappoints!!

My wife found this place for us to eat at on our way to the Grand Canyon. I had Genaro's Nightmare which is a NY Strip covered in green chiles and cheese and it was absolutely delicious. As a Texan, I love spicy food and I fell in love with this hidden gem in Gallup instantly.My wife had the stuffed sopapilla which was quite tasty as well. It's a small place with big flavor. Their staff is warm, welcoming, attentive, and friendly. I will definitely eat here again when I'm in the area.

5 stars for the food. Service was very friendly but took a while to get refills, etc. on a Saturday I went but was told that's usually the case. Its a cute mom n pop place in a neighborhood with parking a bit difficult. I will definitely come again preferably on a lil less busy day.

Great low-key establishment with New Mexican hits like green and red Chile pork and pozole. Really friendly service and nice mix of traditional American and classic New Mexican dishes helps if you have picky group members. Chips, salsa, and clean restroom make for an all around great stop for a road trip.

Very good new Mexican food

In a small town like Gallup, you might not expect a lot. This restaurant is a welcome respite with good Mexican food on I -40 and worth stopping. My boyfriend swears it’s the best Chile Rellano he’s ever had, and he’s eaten this dish all over New Mexico and Arizona. He also loved the enchilada sauce and dipped his tortilla chips in this instead of the salsa. Lots of locals were eating at the restaurant in the middle of a weekday, which is always a good sign. So on the long haul on I -40, take a break and stop. Quick and efficient service with good food is a nice way to break up the trip.

Cute hidden area secret! The food is delicious and service is decent! If you're passing thru town and take the time to find the place, prepared to be REWARDED!!! AUTHENTIC, PURE ENJOYMENT!

The best salsa and stuffed sopapillas in town.

Really good. We new we had struck gold when we tasted the salsa. Chili relleno with green chili was fantastic. Our favorite Mexican food in Gallup. Seemed a favorite of the locals as well.
